The Cyclops CYC-TF800 TF-800 Tactical is designed for serious users who demand a compact yet high-output light that can handle rugged use. At the heart of the unit is a Cree XPG3 (6 W) LED that generates up to roughly 800 lumens of white light output. The light body is constructed from aviation-grade anodised aluminium alloy, which provides enhanced durability and heat dissipation. According to the manufacturer, the beam can be adjusted from a focused spot to a wider flood pattern (via the spot-to-flood magnifier feature) enabling longer throw or broader coverage as needed. Operating modes typically include full output (100%), reduced output (~20%) for longer runtime, and an SOS/flash mode for emergency signalling in low-light conditions. The rear cap of the flashlight houses a tactical switch, allowing momentary or constanton activation, which is particularly useful for tactical or field applications.
