The Lee Collet Die uses an innovative and brilliantly simple collet-and-mandrel system to gently squeeze the case neck against the mandrel. This process creates a perfectly straight case with uniform neck tension, which are two of the most critical factors for building exceptionally accurate ammunition. By only sizing the neck, the body of your case remains perfectly fire-formed to your rifle's chamber, creating a custom fit that full-length sizing cannot replicate. If you are on a quest for ultimate precision from your .30-06 Springfield bolt-action rifle, the Lee Precision Collet Die is not just an accessoryit's a necessity.
